About the Author

Sherry writes to educate and encourage children to trust and value nurturing friendships while prioritizing themselves. Sherry is inspired to write because of her experience as a young mother living in South Jersey.

During that time, she devoted herself to the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, being a marching band parent, a soccer mom, and a Parent Resource Volunteer for her children’s elementary schools.

Giving back to the various communities she is a part of has always been important to her. She volunteered in her church as a Sunday School teacher and a panel speaker for the Women’s Ministry.

Within her neighborhood community, Sherry was the Block Captain for her street in New Jersey and she welcomed new neighbors with warmth.

Sherry is a United States Air Force veteran and loves to write, dance, garden, decorate, and create memories with her family and friends. She enjoys yoga and meditation on the beach in the early morning hours and collecting rocks on her nature walks for her backyard rock garden. She loves everything about tea, tea rooms, and hosting her own themed tea parties.

Sherry Gray presently resides in Northern Virginia and has three adult children and one lovely, and adorable granddaughter.
